• Tapolca-Diszel


  • The first settlement of Tapolca-Diszel was during the Roman Ages, on the current property of the village. Dating back to the 18th century, a narrow stone bridge overlaps the banks of Eger Creek in the center. The church of the vicarage was also built in the 18th century, utilizing of carvings from the Roman Age, near which the first Hungarian Exhibition is located in the reconstructed building of an old water mill. The yard of the House for Local Entertainment gives place to a culpture exhibition. Several grave monuments of nobles as well as memorials from the Second World War are placed in the cemetery. A tourist path leads from the village to the castle of Castle of Csobánc.
